Medic Down

For those of you interested in the mishandling of the situation in St. Paul with the protestors outside of the RNC, this is an extrememly well-written article that describes the brutality against the medics and journalists who were targeted (among others) in the city trying to help protect peaceful protestors and innocent bystanders.  Quite frankly, the whole situation is sickening and makes me feel extremely disgusted to know things this extreme could be happening.  Read it, I highly recommend that you do.

Walter Reed Mixup

“Green Screen Mystery Solved”

And what building could possibly deserve such a prominent role as the main backdrop of McCain’s nomination speech? According to TPM readers, it is Walter Reed. As in Walter Reed Middle School in North Hollywood, California.

Wait, what? Did they mean to have an image of Walter Reed Medical Center? Ouch. If only they were a little better at “the google”, they might have recognized their mistake.

How do they let something this big slip?  It was supposed to be a huge night and an important speech!  They can’t seem to do anything right these days.

Does a McCain administration put you at ease when you look at how his campaign is run?  Now, based on this instance alone.. yes, that thought is a bit extreme.  But just pay attention to how messy and unorganzed everything is, and maybe you’ll see things the way I do.  Then again, maybe not..

Fucking ridiculous.

Democracy Now is standing by the three and calling what happened today “a transparent attempt to intimidate journalists” and “a clear violation of the freedom of the press and the First Amendment rights of these journalists.”
