Have you heard the report that President-Elect Obama receives more daily briefings than Still-President Bush? I realize there is only one President at a time, but maybe it would be best for all involved if we had the young, intelligent, motivated, energetic guy take over right away for the tired, unmotivated, older gentleman who seems to be less interested in our troops, reputation, and economy than he does about preventing women’s rights, Christmas parties, and pushing through enviromentally unsound regulations.
If you don’t know about this yet, you should go to Change.gov to keep up with the transition process of going from a Bush administration to an Obama administration.
So it has arrived. (Finally!) Here’s the thing. I don’t care who you are voting for (well I do, but it would not belittle your opinions) I just think that everyone who has an opinion, one way or the other, should go out and vote today. So, it is poll time:
I think it is safe to say that John McCain and the GOP are working hard to win over Pennsylvania. Let’s recap the mail received this week, shall we?
From the Republican Federal Committee of Pennsylvania-Victory 2008:
“Bitter?” .. A reminder of past “bitter” comments.
“What do Barack Obama’s Plans MEAN FOR YOU?” .. A list of taxes Obama wants to increase
From the Republican Jewish Coalition:
“Meet Barack Obama’s Friends and Advisors” .. Obama pictured with Rev. Wright, surrounded by pictures of Zbigniew Brezezinksi, Bob Malley, David Bonior, and Tony McPeak.
A state judge is rejecting the Pennsylvania Republican Party’s request to put its lawsuit against the community-activist group ACORN on the fast track.
Quite frankly, I cannot wait for this election to be over already. And for your information, I will be casting my vote for Barack Obama.
Even if the intent was to give Sarah Palin’s campaign wardrobe to charity afterward, would it not be more beneficial to a charity organization to have the $150,000 in cash instead of a few pieces of clothing? Maybe if they were going to do a terrible job managing their campaign budget they should have just asked their donors to donate to charity instead.
You have all heard from the McCain Campaign and it’s surrogates about how Barack Obama and Joe Biden are the “most liberal in the Senate.. even moreso than the Socialist Senator!” as cited by a “non-conservative” publication, blah, blah blah.
You’ve probably also heard that the way the ranking worked was based on bogus standards, blah, blah, blah.
However, let’s say it wasn’t. Let’s give it the benefit of the doubt. So Obama is the #1 liberal Senator, Joe Biden is #3, fine. That’s all well and good. Now tell me why that should scare me. What extreme, radical, crazy liberal agenda do they have? Can you tell me what policy he has pushed through as a Senator that should worry me? One point of view that I don’t agree with? Because frankly, so far the only things I don’t agree with him on are when he votes with George Bush, such as on FISA. Is he a crazy liberal because he voted against the war? Because if that’s the case, bring on the crazy liberals!
Please, someone tell me why “liberal” is a bad word in relation to Barack Obama.
